This is the Puerto Rican way to make cube steak. You need:
- A pound of beef cube steak
- A medium onion
- Adobo with pepper (hispanic seasoning) or sal and pepper
- 2 cups of water
Season the cube steak with adobo or salt and pepper to taste. Cut the onion on rings. Place the steak and onions together in a bowl with lid. Let sit in the fridge at least an hour before cooking (I like to season my steak the day before). In a 5 qrtz pan boil the water and add the steak and onion. Cook on medium. Enjoy!
